I purchased a young mare named Drifter in May of 2008. She is a cremello Quarter Horse mare. She was started under saddle in the fall of 2008 and delivered a healthy filly April 11, 2009. Since she came to me with no formal training I am blogging to explore the process of horsemanship, non-traditional training methods and holistic training with this beautiful mare.
He looks stunning! I loved every shots. Hope to have one like that but with the behavior and characteristics of performance horses.
ReplyDeleteSaw your comment on the Rockley Farm blog, and saw that you had a horse named Drifter, so came over here. I also had a horse named Drifter - I still have him but his name has since been changed to Red (long story there). I also, when I was a teenager, had a wonderful cremello mare (named Snow) who looked a lot like your mare!
